Originating from biotechnological fermentations fed with stable isotopes, the Silantes complex media are naturally rich in 13C-carbon. There is no need to add 13C glucose, deuterated glucose, 13C methanol, deuterated methanol, deuterated (d8) glycerol, 15N ammonium chloride (15NH4Cl) or other energy sources.
