Placing your order
You can place your order with Silantes in two ways: through our web shop or by email (info@silantes.com).
Ordering through the web shop:
The advantage of placing an order through the Silantes web shop is that your order is placed and confirmed quickly. The products available in the webshop are in stock and can be shipped immediately.
Ordering by email or requesting a quotation:
If you need an official quote for your order, you are welcome to send a quote request by email. Please help us to handle your request quickly by providing the following information:
- Your name, phone number and e-mail address
- Your shipping address
- Your billing address (Institution, Department, Research Group/Principal Investigator, City, Post Code, County, Country) if different from your shipping address. Please note that for tax reasons the shipping and billing address must be in the same country.
- Your VAT number if the delivery is within the EU
- All relevant product information: Silantes catalog number, product name, quantity as applicable: mg (milligrams), g (grams), L (liters), etc.
- If available, your FedEX account number
Please note that Silantes has a minimum order policy of 100 EURO with the exception of free samples.

Please remember to add shipping and handling fees as indicated below:
- Delivery within Germany: 30 EUR
- Delivery within the EU: 70 EUR
- Delivery outside the EU: 120 EUR / $145

Shipping terms:
Free Carrier (FCA). Silantes is responsible for the delivery of the goods to a destination specified by the buyer. The destination is typically an airport, shipping terminal, warehouse, or other location where the carrier operates. Silantes includes transportation costs in its price and assumes the risk of loss until the carrier receives the goods. At this point, the buyer assumes all responsibility.
Silantes reserves the right to change the method of transport if required to comply with transportation regulations. Such a change does not affect buyers responsibility to pay for shipping charges.
Packaging:
To maintain the high quality of our products during transit we use the best available packaging materials.
Returns
The buyer is responsible for approving the quality and quantity of any product supplied by Silantes within 30 days of the invoice date.
Returns may be made within 30 days of the invoice date with the prior approval of Silantes. We reserve the right to impose a restocking charge of 10% when a return is at the sole option of the buyer. Products returned without prior authorization by Silantes will not be credited under any circumstances.
Limited Warranty
Silantes GmbH manufactures highly pure research compounds which are produced for research applications only. Persons intending to use these products for other applications do so at their own responsibility and must comply with all appropriate regulations. Local regulatory authorities should be consulted to obtain information on effective requirements.
Silantes’ maximum liability for any reason is limited to replacement of the product or refund of the purchase price.
